For people who share a house, a fridge and the bills

Splitting the bill is only the beginning.

The whole house in one app: bills with Pix, the chore rota, decisions and who moves in and out. The way the house agreed, not the way the app made up.

Some apps split the bill. A student house needs more.

Living together is not only splitting the rent. It is the dishes, the shopping list, the noise rule, the friend who arrived mid-month.

Comparison with apps that only split expenses, in general.

Bills

The bill arrived. The Pix already has the amount.

  • Everyone pays their own. Equally, by each person's days in the month, or with the bigger room paying a bit more.
  • You copy it, pay in your bank and say so. Whoever is paid only checks.
  • The money never goes through the app. It goes straight from one person to the other.
  • Electricity and water that change every month. Nobody pays an estimate: it counts when the amount arrives.

Chores

The dishes are everyone's. The rota is the one you agreed.

  • A rota in the order the house chose. Or always the same person. The house decides, chore by chore.
  • The whole month in view. Travelling? Swap the day with someone, and nobody ends up with more.
  • The house plant. It never dies, but it is only lovely when everyone does their part. No ranking.

Decisions

Deciding together takes one tap.

  • Open or secret vote. Only counts with the majority of the house.
  • Rules in writing. With each person's "I read and agree", so nobody argues from memory.
  • The house is in charge, not the app. Whoever administers is chosen by the house and can be changed by a vote.

People come and go

Did people change in the house? Nobody pays for what they did not use.

  • The split is redone by days. Whoever arrived or left mid-month pays only for the days they lived there.
  • Invitation by link, temporary resident. And the settlement of whoever leaves, all in view.
  • New semester, new house? Take myRepública to your next house.

The look of the house

Looking like the people who live in it.

  • The house's colour, crest and motto. The house chooses, and everyone sees the same thing.
  • A photo, only if the person wants. Each person decides, and only their own house sees the face.
  • Dark, light, large text. Everyone sets the app the way they see best.

End of the month

The house summary, to show your friends.

  • Only the house's numbers. Bills on time, chores done. No names, no ranking.
  • An image to share. Your way: on Instagram or in the house group.

Made for student houses, with four promises

Everyone sees what is theirs

Open it and see: what you pay now, your chore today, what the house is deciding.

The house decides, the app does not

No ready-made bills, chores or rules. Anything with an effect needs the majority.

Money does not go through the app

It only records who owes whom. Payment is by Pix between you.

No ranking, no shaming

Nobody is exposed for being late. Notices name the bill, never the amount.

R$ 10 per person, per month. At most R$ 80 per house.

Whoever runs the house pays for the whole house; the residents do not. It counts the people living in the house that day, including those who do not use the app yet.

Quick questions

How much does it cost?

R$ 10 per person, per month, with at most R$ 80 per house. The semester is R$ 50 per person: 5 months paid, 6 of use. The first 30 days are free. After that, without a subscription, the house is paused: nothing is deleted and you can see everything, you just cannot create new things.

Do I need to install it?

No. It works in the browser on your phone and computer, and you can add it to the home screen. You sign in with e-mail, or with Google or Apple.

Does the app hold or move my money?

No. Money goes by Pix straight from one person to another. The app only records who owes whom.

Does everyone need to use it?

Someone who does not use the app can be registered, and whoever administers acts for them.

What if someone joins or leaves mid-month?

The split is redone by each person's days.

Who is in charge of the house?

The house. Whoever administers can be changed by a vote, and anything with an effect needs the majority.

Is there a ranking of who does more?

No. The house sees the whole, with its own numbers only. Nothing points at who is late.
