Terms of use

myRepública is an app for shared houses to split bills, chores and agreements.

Subscription

The house admin can subscribe to a monthly plan through the App Store or Google Play. The subscription renews itself until cancelled in your store account settings; payment and refunds follow the store's rules. Residents do not pay.

Refunds

When a house pays the subscription by Pix, we return the full amount in the first 7 days after payment, no explanation needed. After that the refund is partial: we return the share that matches the paid time not yet used. To assess the request we may look at the house's usage record (see Privacy), which shows when and in which area of the app it was used, without the content.

Money

The app neither holds nor moves money between residents. It only calculates the split and shows the payee's Pix.

Use

Each resident uses their own link and is responsible for it. Do not use the app to harass or expose other people.

The house administrator can record that a chore was not done on the agreed day, or excuse the miss. The decision is shown to all residents of the house, on the Chore transparency page, and the person can talk to the administrator about it.
